Site SEO and the many Drupal modules

I have finally gotten around to installing all of the modules for Drupal SEO on this site. I always follow the SEO checklist when setting up SEO for customers and my own sites. I have realized in setting up the SEO modules that I use a TON of modules! I thought it would be fun to list out all of the modules used for this simple portfolio and blog site. Here goes:

Account Menu
Administration menu
Backup and Migrate
CCK
Contemplate
Date
File Field
Global Redirect
Google Analytics
Image API
Image Cache
Image Field
Inline
jQuery UI
Link
Mollom
Page Title
Pathauto
Path Redirct
Scheduler
SEO Checklist
Site Verify
Token
Vertical Tabs
Views
XML Sitemap

Pwew... that was a lot of modules. And this is a relatively simple site. Of course I wouldn't want it any other way. I like the flexibility of adding the functionality I want to the site. The only part about having all of these modules comes when the Drupal core is updated. The instructions for updating the Drupal core include disabling and then renabling ALL of the modules. That can take a long time, especially for a larger, more complex site. Hopefully, Drupal will include a way of automatically updating the core. That sure would be nice.
